Add several spoon fulls of mixed sprout seeds, soak in water overnight, drain then rinse with clean new water every morning and night and in a few days you have sprouts for your sandwiches and salads... delicious!
Start with a purposely designed sprouter (buy online) ((Note perforations and a false bottom insert that supports a smaller sized container that sits-in the larger container to keep seeds from sitting in the water drippings))
Add several spoon fulls of your favorite sprout mixture. (buy online)
Soak seeds overnight, drain then wash and drain using fresh water every morning and night for several days until ready to eat. Wash in ice water to remove husks and prepare for storage. Next allow to drip dry before placing in a refrigerator container for storage. Keeps up to a week - likely consumed much sooner. Germination is aided by keeping it in a room warm 70-75F location. Once leaf buds appear place in moderate sunlight for a few hours each day... (A plant can only perform photosynthesis when it has leaves. Until then light has little if any effect.) most sprouts are ready to eat when there are tiny leaves... just use your Green thumb!
