Beneteau Oceanis 411 - Steering access very open and well designed

I was walking down the dock today enjoying our tropical 93F 'paradise' temperature when I spotted some cleaning in progress so I slowed down and stopped to chat... what a great design - pop the deck cover and there are the steering cables, rudder quadrant and rudder shaft packing all exposed and they are above the waterline and should there be a packing leaking it goes overboard all on its own...

The next picture was taken looking forward to the helm from where the dog is sitting.

Bruce Farr designed the Beneteau Oceanis 411 - KUDOS for KISSing your masterpiece.
Just list off the deck cover and you have full access to the steering and rudder quadrant etc.
