This site was created to facilitate the introduction of skippers and potential volunteer line handlers for Panama Canal transits.
It is a site created by yachties for yachties, after seeing first hand the potential risks associated with transiting the canal with inexperienced or indifferent line handlers (some of whom are being paid). The hope is that the site aids skippers in getting good line handling help and to link those yachtsmen who wish to transit the canal for the experience prior to doing it themselves.
